Privacy-First Bookmark Manager is a local-first dashboard for organizing browser bookmarks and bookmark folders.
It helps you manage large bookmark libraries with folder browsing, search, tags, duplicate review, bookmark health checks, custom trash, backups, folder colors, folder icons, dark mode, and local activity history.
Your bookmark data stays in your browser. The extension does not require an account, does not use analytics, does not use advertising SDKs, does not use AI APIs, and does not send bookmark data to any external server.
Key features:
- Browse bookmark folders in a clean dashboard
- Search bookmarks by title, URL, domain, folder, or tag
- Add local tags to bookmarks
- Review duplicate bookmarks before deleting anything
- Check invalid URLs, empty folders, untagged bookmarks, old bookmarks, and large folders
- Move bookmarks and folders with safer controls
- Use custom trash before permanent deletion
- Export and import local backups
- Customize folders with colors and icons
- Use light, dark, or system theme
- Open a compact popup for quick access
