Trackers follow you across the web, building profiles of everything you do. PrivacyPirate stops them with two layers of protection: network-level blocking and real-time counter-tracking.
WHAT IT BLOCKS
Over 50,000 tracking rules covering domains from companies like Google, Meta, Amazon, and hundreds of data brokers. Requests are blocked before they leave your browser using Firefox's built-in declarativeNetRequest engine. No data ever reaches the tracker.
WHAT IT FIGHTS BACK WITH
Some trackers can't be blocked without breaking the sites you need. For those, PrivacyPirate fights back with 7 counter-tracking tools:
Data poisoning: feeds trackers fake purchases, fake searches, and fake page views so your real profile becomes useless
Fake mouse movements: generates realistic mouse activity to pollute heatmap and session replay trackers like Hotjar and FullStory
Fake form interactions: simulates form field activity to corrupt form analytics that track how you fill out pages
Canvas fingerprint randomization: adds subtle noise to canvas and WebGL output so trackers can't build a unique fingerprint of your browser
Navigator spoofing: reports fake device details so trackers can't identify your hardware
Extension detection shield: prevents websites from detecting which extensions you have installed
Link tampering watchdog: alerts you if another extension silently modifies affiliate or referral links
