Prompt Leak Guard runs locally in your browser.

It does not collect, sell, rent, or transmit prompt text, scan results, browsing history, or personal information.

The extension has no backend service and no analytics SDK. The extension source does not call fetch, XMLHttpRequest, sendBeacon, or third-party analytics services.

Text entered into the popup or typed into supported AI chat fields is scanned locally using JavaScript pattern matching. Sanitized output is generated locally in the browser.

Prompt Leak Guard uses browser extension storage only for simple settings and the offline license code used to activate the extension.

License codes are verified locally. They do not cause prompt text, scan results, or browsing history to be sent anywhere.

Supported AI chat domains are the domains listed in the extension manifest: chat.openai.com, chatgpt.com, claude.ai, gemini.google.com, and perplexity.ai.
