ProofScout processes visible page text, the current URL and page structure locally inside the user’s browser. This access is used only to provide opportunity-risk explanations, URL checks, accessibility diagnostics and website bug detection.

ProofScout does not collect, transmit, sell or share page content, browsing history, URLs, credentials, identity information or inspection results. It does not use analytics, advertising, tracking SDKs, remote AI services or a page-content server.

Access to HTTP and HTTPS pages is required so the floating assistant can inspect the page the user is currently viewing. ProofScout does not request access to cookies, downloads, saved passwords, contacts, location, camera, microphone or payments.

Browser-provided speech synthesis is used only when the user requests that a result be read aloud. Optional voice-command availability depends on the user’s browser.
