Quick AI actions brings fast, customizable AI assistance directly into your Firefox right-click menu. Select any text on a web page, open the context menu, and run useful AI actions such as summarizing long articles, explaining complex ideas in simple language, translating text to English, or drafting a thoughtful comment or reply.

The extension requires your own OpenAI API key. When you run an action, the selected website text, your prompt, optional system prompt, follow-up messages, selected model name, and API key are sent securely to OpenAI to generate the response. The extension does not run actions in the background; text is sent only when you choose a context-menu action or send a follow-up from the result modal.

Your OpenAI API key is stored locally in Firefox extension storage. Saved actions and the optional system prompt are stored in Firefox sync storage so they can follow your Firefox account settings across devices.

The extension is built for people who read, research, write, study, work, and communicate across the web.
