Reliable Reddit is a lightweight browser extension designed to promote information transparency by surfacing hidden metrics on Reddit posts and user accounts.

Reddit experienced mass user growth in the past few years, resulting in an increase in automated and biased posts, from people trying to farm upvotes or control narratives. Reliable Reddit helps users distinguish between genuine community engagement and potential manipulation from the site.

Key Features
- 📊 Visual Upvote Ratio: See post sentiment and controversiality at a glance with a YouTube-style like/dislike bar on every post
- 👤 Instant OP Insights: Directly view user's account age and total karma on pages to better discern burner accounts. Offers a redirect to 3rd party Arctic Shift Search for users who hide their profile to check for bad-faith actors
- 🤖 Bot/AI Detection: Calls a HuggingFace LLM model to gauge if picture posts are generated by AI. It can also highlight comments mentioning "AI" or "bot" to help flag suspicious posts
- 🎨 UI Versatility: Supports both New and Old Reddit designs
- ⚡ Lightweight & Modular: Toggle and adjust features in extension popup menu
