反转 YouTube 播放列表 的隐私政策
Effective date: July 27, 2026
Reverse YouTube Playlists does not collect, sell, store persistently, or send
personal data to the extension developer. It contains no analytics, telemetry,
advertising, tracking pixels, affiliate identifiers, or remote code.
The extension runs only on https://www.youtube.com/*.
When the user deliberately clicks the extension's reverse-playback button, the
extension requests the current public playlist and any required continuation
pages directly from YouTube. This is necessary to determine the complete
playlist order, including videos that YouTube has not yet rendered on screen.
These requests:
- are sent only to
https://www.youtube.com; - contain the current playlist identifier and YouTube continuation tokens;
- use fixed, non-user-specific client locale values;
- explicitly omit credentials and do not include YouTube cookies;
- are not sent to the extension developer or any other third party.
YouTube processes these requests under its own terms and privacy policy.
Playlist video identifiers and the reverse-playback state are processed locally
in Firefox. While reverse playback is active, this state is stored in
browser.storage.session. Session storage is not written as a persistentextension preference and is cleared when the browser session ends. It is not
available to scripts running on YouTube pages.
The extension does not read or store unrelated browsing history, search terms,
bookmarks, downloads, passwords, email addresses, names, location, or payment
information.
- Access data for youtube.com: required to add the reverse controls, read the
current playlist, and control playlist navigation. - Storage: used only for temporary reverse-playback state in Firefox session
storage. - Browsing activity data declaration: Mozilla classifies the current
playlist identifier sent directly to YouTube as browsing activity. It is sent
only after the user activates reverse playback and only to provide that
feature.
If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated. A future
version will not add analytics, tracking, or developer-operated data collection
without a clear disclosure and the consent required by Mozilla's policies.
