RocketRecap Summarizer helps you digest content quickly by generating concise summaries.

After you submit content using this Add-on the summary will appear on rocketrecap.com

Features:
* YouTube Integration: Detects video URLs to summarize transcripts.
* Web Page Summaries: Scrapes body text for full-page context.
* Selection Mode: Highlight specific text to summarize just that section.
* Model Selection: Switch between Gemini Flash and Pro variants depending on your cost/performance needs. At the moment there is no cost. The website is running in Google's free tier. Eventually I may have to introduce a payment tier, if the free quota is exceeded.

I use this plugin mostly to consume or get an overview of long term videos without actually watching them.

Privacy Note:
This extension sends the URL and content of the active tab to rocketrecap.com for processing. Data is only transmitted when you explicitly click "Summarize".
