Sentinel ID replaces the Duo Universal Prompt with a customizable authentication experience. Instead of waiting for a push notification or digging out your phone for a code, you authenticate using your preferred method: one-tap approval, a personal PIN, a passphrase, a grid pattern, or a biometric-style scan. Your chosen method unlocks a stored passkey (either browser-based or WebAuthn/OS Secure Enclave) which then completes the Duo handshake on your behalf. Designed for university students and staff who are tired of a boring and slow MFA experience.
