SlipClip is a Firefox extension that clips the page you are reading into Notion —
the article, the video, or the list of links — and skips the furniture. It reads
the page the way a reader does: finds the article, drops the nav, the comments and
the recommendation rail, then files clean Markdown into any Notion page or database.

Clip the article. Not the furniture.


SlipClip registers itself as its own OAuth client and runs Notion's standard consent
screen, where you choose exactly which pages it can see.


Articles come through as full Markdown with site, author and date. Videos become a
title, channel and description — no transcript wall. Index pages become their list of
links. Highlight something first and the clip is that quote alone.


Your recent Notion pages load in a dropdown, or search your workspace, or paste a
link. Databases work too, including the inline ones that never show up in search.
Clip as a new page, or append to the bottom of an existing one.


No SlipClip server, no account, no analytics. Your clips go to Notion and nowhere
else. Free and open source.
Three changes and why: the old copy opened on "Sign in with Notion" — nobody searches that, so the keyword-bearing sentence ("clips the page you are reading into Notion") now goes first and in a ## heading. The ### leads carry the phrases people actually type (save a page to Notion, article to Markdown, Notion databases). Nothing was added to the story, only reordered.
