Snow's Link Shortener 的隐私政策
Snow's Link Shortener 作者: Snowpocalypse
Effective date: October 1, 2026. This policy covers the add-on and the SLS API calls it makes.
The add-on sends the URL you explicitly choose to shorten to snowpocalypse.me. It also sends any custom alias and expiration you select. It does not scan your browsing history or send the contents of web pages. Clicking the toolbar can read the current tab URL to fill the form; right-clicking a link uses that selected link URL.
All links created through this add-on are public. The destination and short link can appear in the public SLS listing. Do not shorten URLs containing passwords, private access tokens, or information you do not want to share publicly. Guest links expire after 30 days. Expiration stops the redirect; it does not guarantee deletion of database records or backups.
No account is required to shorten a link. If you connect an account, the connection token is stored in this browser’s local extension storage, not Firefox Sync. It is sent to SLS to authenticate API requests. The add-on retrieves your account name and latest links for display. It does not request your account password, Twitch credentials, or Discord credentials.
Disconnecting removes the locally stored token. To invalidate the token on the server, revoke it on the website’s extension connection page. Server-side tokens are stored as hashes and expire after 90 days. Account links remain subject to the expiration you select and the website’s management controls.
Requests expose your IP address to the hosting service and its Cloudflare infrastructure as part of normal network delivery. SLS uses IP-based controls to limit spam. The service and its infrastructure may retain operational logs and backups; this add-on does not control their retention. Normal short-link visits may contribute to SLS click counts.
The extension contains no advertising or analytics SDKs and makes API requests only to snowpocalypse.me. The destination URL is submitted when you request a short link, not automatically whenever you visit a page. Account status and your latest links may be requested when you open the popup with an account connected.
The most recent quick-link result is held in browser-session extension storage so you can reopen the popup. Connection tokens persist locally until disconnected or extension data is removed. Uninstalling the add-on removes its browser-managed local data. Removing local data does not delete already-created public links or revoke server-side tokens.
Use the developer contact details on this add-on’s Firefox Add-ons listing for privacy questions. Website account features are separate from this add-on.
