SocialKit for W is an independent Firefox companion for W Social. It combines private Circles, focused feeds, Catch Up, saved posts, Lens/Radar profile context, AT Protocol Identity, Relationships, Network and Watch tools in one local-first workspace.
Public-data features are opt-in. Private organisation stays in Firefox extension local storage. SocialKit does not request a W password, access private messages, use remote executable code, run advertising, or send analytics to a developer backend.
Firefox-specific reading support uses local language detection. Firefox currently does not expose its built-in translator to WebExtensions, so SocialKit does not send post text to an external translation service; users can use Firefox's own page translation control when translation is needed.
