Sonnet layers satisfying keyboard audio over your typing using the Web Audio API — no sound files bundled, all sounds synthesized in real time for zero added weight.
4 sound profiles:
Typewriter — sharp bandpass click with a low mechanical thump beneath it
Click — crisp, dampened high-frequency tap; laptop-style
Thock — deep resonant keystroke with a hollow body; O-ring feel
Rain — two soft, layered taps with a slight cascade; ambient and quiet
Click any profile button in the popup to hear a live 4-keystroke preview before committing.
Sounds natural, not robotic
Each keystroke has subtle random pitch and volume variation. Spacebar and Enter are slightly accented; Backspace is softer — just like the real thing.
Per-site volume
Set one global volume (default 30%) and override it on any domain. Loud on your notes app, near-silent on a form-heavy work tool — Sonnet remembers each site.
