Privacy Policy

This extension sends the URL of the currently open tab, along with video metadata extracted from it (title, thumbnail, available format/quality list), to a server whose address the extension either discovers automatically on the local network or that the user enters manually.

• No data is sent to us, to Mozilla, or to any third party.
• Data is sent only to the server the user has configured and controls themselves (by default, a home server on their local network).
• If that server is ever made accessible from the internet (not just the local network), URLs and video metadata processed through this extension will leave the local network and go wherever the user has pointed their server (e.g. cloud hosting) — this is the user's own choice and responsibility.
• The extension does not store or collect request history beyond what is needed to display the current download's progress and speed.
