SortPicks collects no data whatsoever.

THE EXTENSION
No personal information, browsing history, search queries or usage analytics are
collected, stored on any server, or transmitted to the developer or to any third
party. The extension runs entirely inside your browser: it reads the Amazon search
page you are viewing and, when Smart Sort is enabled, fetches further result pages
from that same Amazon website using your own browser session, solely to merge and
sort them locally on your screen. It contains no analytics, telemetry, advertising
or tracking code of any kind. Your filter settings are saved by your browser's
built-in extension storage (browser.storage.sync) and go nowhere else; they are
removed when you uninstall the extension.

THE OPTIONAL "TOP 5 PICKS" BUTTON
If, and only if, you click it, the extension opens our companion page at
sortpicks.com with the products from your current results placed in the URL's


receives your search terms or product data - the analysis runs inside your browser
on that page as well. If you never press the button, no interaction with the website
happens at all.

THE WEBSITE
sortpicks.com is separate from the extension, and it does use Google Analytics 4 to
count page views. This sets cookies named ga and _ga* holding a randomly generated
ID so a returning visit is not counted twice. Google processes the page you viewed,
the site that referred you, an approximate location derived from your IP address
(country and region level only), and your device, browser and screen size. Google
Signals, advertising features and cross-site ad personalisation are deliberately
switched off, and no data is ever sold. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland analytics
stays off until you press Allow on the consent bar; everywhere else the privacy page
carries a one-click opt-out. None of this applies to the extension, which contains no
analytics at all.
