The Far Side Tribute
Gary Larson - The Far Side. Published from 1980 to 1994. Sometimes irreverent, sometimes hilarious, sometimes subtle, Gary's strips always provided alternate perspectives on common things in everyday life. My favorite publication was 'The Complete Far Side', printed in 2003. It contains all 14 years of Far Side strips. The 2 volume set weighs in at 20 lbs, not good for lap reading.
