Threads & Instagram Downloader adds a selection and download bar to threads.com and instagram.com. Mark the images or posts you want right on the page and download them with one click – one by one, as a selection, or all at once. One icon for both sites: it detects automatically whether you are on Threads or Instagram.

FEATURES
- Click the toolbar icon – the selection bar appears
- Threads: clicking an image selects exactly that image
- Instagram: clicking selects the whole post; on download all album images and videos are fetched in original size (you need to be logged in to Instagram)
- "Load whole page" scrolls down automatically so longer collections and feeds are captured completely
- Select all / Clear
- Toggle "Include videos" on or off
- Download the selection only or everything
- Cancel a running download at any time
- Progress bar and subtle notifications with "Show in folder"
- Carousel arrows, play/mute buttons and tagged people keep working normally

SETTINGS
- Separate target folder for Instagram and for Threads
- Optional subfolder per creator (e.g. Instagram/@name/…)
- Freely configurable file name pattern with {user}, {code}, {nr}, {date}, {type} – including presets and a live preview
- 1 to 8 parallel downloads

Files are saved in your normal Firefox download folder under Instagram/ and Threads/.

- Your saved collections (Instagram: Profile → Saved → Collection)
- Profiles, feed and individual posts
- threads.com (and threads.net)

PRIVACY
- Collects no data and sends nothing to third parties
- All settings stay local in your browser
- Downloads run through your own existing login on the sites
- Only the media URLs are read, in order to download them
