Tonic for GitLab adds focused, configurable improvements to GitLab.com and self-managed GitLab instances.
It removes repetitive steps and makes merge request work easier to scan, share, and manage.

Choose the features that fit your workflow:

• Copy the canonical merge request link from any detail tab.
• Confirm the main Merge or Set to auto-merge action before it runs.
• Dim draft merge requests while keeping their details readable.
• Highlight and filter merge requests you authored.
• Save and restore merge request list filters.
• Start new comments as threads by default.
• Hide selected GitLab feedback links and unavailable Duo controls.
• Dismiss broadcast banners until their content changes.

Open the Tonic settings control in GitLab's top bar to enable or disable each feature. GitLab.com works immediately. For a self-managed GitLab instance, add its exact origin
from the browser toolbar and approve access only for that site.

Tonic for GitLab stores its settings locally in your browser. It has no analytics, advertising, or external service integration, and it does not transmit GitLab page data.
