Translator AI is a fast, beautiful, privacy-first translation extension. Highlight any text on any webpage and a floating glassmorphic popup appears beside your selection with the translation, language pills, copy, speak, pin, and a corner you can drag to resize.

🌍 Translate any selection on any site highlight a word, sentence, or paragraph and the translation appears beside it in under a second.
🎙️ Dialect-aware voice pick a regional dialect like Egyptian Arabic, Mexican Spanish, Quebec French, or Brazilian Portuguese. The Speak button finds the closest matching voice on your system. Works for ~30 dialects across 20+ languages.
🧠 Contextual & idiomatic connect an OpenAI key to get translations that understand slang, idioms, and the page's category (news, social, docs) natural phrasing instead of word-for-word.
🎨 8 polished themes + custom accent color Light, Dark, Auto, Translator, Ocean, Forest, Midnight, Amber.
⌨️ Keyboard shortcuts Alt+T translates the current selection; Alt+Shift+T toggles the auto-popup. Both remappable from about:addons.
🔒 Privacy-first — no analytics, no telemetry, no third-party trackers. Your selected text is sent only to the translation provider you choose. Settings, history, pins, and cache stay local in your browser.
🌐 Multiple providers, automatic fallback — Google (free, no key) is the default. Switch any time to DeepL, MyMemory, OpenAI, or a LibreTranslate instance. If your provider hiccups, it falls back automatically.
⚡ Offline cache recently translated text is cached and returned instantly the next time you select the same phrase.
📌 Pin & history save favorites, browse the last 500, search and re-play them.
🧮 Full-page translate right-click → "Translate entire page" translates every visible text node in place. Click again to restore originals.
