Overview
We built Trooperloops to analyze your AI coding conversations and give you feedback on how you work with AI tools. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and — just as importantly — what we don't do with it.

A note on where we are
Trooperloops is in open beta. We're a small team — right now, two people — moving fast and doing our best, and not everything is fully dialed in yet.

Privacy is our highest priority. We're making every effort to secure and keep your data private, and we only intend to use your data for transparent purposes — never beyond the direct experience available to you. As we grow past beta, our policies and processes will tighten up considerably.

What we collect
Account information: Email address and basic account details needed to provide the service.
AI conversation transcripts: When you submit a conversation for analysis, we receive the text of that conversation — the prompts you sent to your AI tool and the responses it generated.
Analysis results: The structured feedback and metrics generated from your conversation analysis, stored so you can track progress over time.
Usage data: Basic analytics about how you use the Trooperloops platform (pages visited, features used) to improve the product.

How we use your data
Conversation analysis: Your AI conversation transcripts are sent to Inception AI (inceptionlabs.ai), the third-party service provider that powers our analysis engine. Inception AI processes the conversation text to generate feedback on your interaction patterns. Inception AI is bound by data processing agreements that prohibit them from retaining, using, or training on your conversation data. The analysis is designed to evaluate interaction patterns — not to extract or store the content of your work.
Progress tracking: Analysis results are stored in your account so you can see how your AI interaction patterns evolve over time.

Service providers
We work with third-party providers in two clearly separated roles:
Analysis engine: Inception AI (inceptionlabs.ai) is the only third party that ever sees your conversation content, and only to run the analysis on your behalf.
Operational providers: To operate the platform, we may share limited account, usage, and billing data — never your conversation content — with providers who perform operational functions on our behalf, such as processing payments, handling sign-in, sending transactional email, and maintaining basic infrastructure. These providers receive only the data necessary for their function and are bound by data processing agreements.

What we never do

We will never sell your data, for any reason.
We will never use your personal conversational data to train models. Period.
We do not store your conversations or analysis results for anything other than your personal use.
We will never use your data for anything beyond the direct experience available to you.
Data retention & deletion
Your conversation transcripts and the analysis results generated from them are encrypted and retained while your account is active.

At any time, from your settings page, you can request a copy of your data or permanently delete your account and all associated data. This cannot be undone.

Security
We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Access to user data is restricted to systems and personnel necessary for operating the service.

Changes to this policy
This is a living document, and it will evolve — especially during beta, as we learn and tighten things up. We'll communicate material changes via email or in-app notification before they take effect.
