Ublok keeps ads, pop-ups, and trackers off the sites you visit every day. You install it once and pretty much forget it's there; pages just start loading cleaner and faster, without a dozen things quietly following you around. No setup, no account, no homework. It just works. There are two modes, depending on how much of a fight a site puts up. Basic is light and fast, and honestly, it's almost all most people will ever need; it stops ads and trackers before they even load, so they never cost you a thing. Ultra is for the sites that really come after you: it pulls the video ads out of YouTube, handles common anti-adblock walls, shuts down the pop-unders and surprise tabs that sites love to throw at you the moment you click, and quietly handles autoplay and fingerprinting on top of that. Under the hood, uBlock relies on the same trusted, community-maintained filter lists that the best blockers rely on, including EasyList and uBlock Origin's lists, and they refresh in the background, so your protection stays current without you ever thinking about it. If something does slip through, you can just point at it and hide it yourself. If there's a site you'd rather leave completely alone, you can switch Ublok off for that one site with a single click. Privacy isn't a feature here, but the whole point. Ublok doesn't collect anything, doesn't phone home, and has no ads or tracking of its own. Everything runs right there on your device, and your data is never sold, mostly because it's never collected in the first place.
