Unfurl does not collect, transmit or sell any personal data.

What stays on your device
- Captured images and their edits are held in the browser's own IndexedDB and are deleted as soon as the editor is finished with them, unless you switch on "keep captures on this device", in which case they are deleted after the number of days you choose.
- Settings and licence state are stored in the extension's local storage.

What leaves your device
- Nothing, unless you ask for it. There is no telemetry, no analytics and no account.
- Licence activation, if you buy Pro, sends only the licence key you entered to keep-dark.com in order to verify it.
- The Share panel opens the social network's own post page with a caption prefilled and puts the image on your clipboard. The image itself is never uploaded by Unfurl.

Permissions
- activeTab and scripting: read and act on the page you asked to capture, only after you start a capture.
- downloads: save the files you export.
- storage: keep settings and licence state on your device.
- contextMenus: the right-click entry for starting a capture.
- clipboardWrite: the Copy button.
