Fixed. Here's what was wrong and what I changed:
The bug: When the video modal opens, the site (Radix UI) sets to lock the page. Your button, panel, and toggle are children of , so they inherited pointer-events: none — taps passed straight through to the video player beneath. That's why tapping felt like it "went backward to the current playing video" (your tap was landing on the player controls).
