If this is some "backdoor royalty" for Youtube, then it should be brought to some legal debate since the revenues aren't shared with the actual content producers ... Else (since I don't believe it'd be such "backdoor royalty"), then it's essentially unethical opportunism - not to say thievery - while trying to make money over the popularity of a FREE web site and its content providers.
