I just wanted to download a 30-second YT video - even after installing the helper app, it took 10 minutes to "aggregate" then informed me it had watermarked the video because I chose an "ADP" menu option (the only one available) and didn't register some conversion feature. A huge waste of time for even the simplest of uses.

The author describes the add-on as "The easy way". The first time i try to download and convert a YouTube video the add-on says i need to download additional software. The second time i try it tells me i need a license. The third time i try i uninstall the add-on and leave this review in a stern reminding of how you never can trust the words that an author uses for their own product.

Zuerst muss ich noch ein zweites Programm in Windows installieren, damit die Videos konvertiert werden, sonst kann ich den Download nicht ansehen. Danach muss ich trotzdem für ca. 20€ noch eine VideoKonvertierungsRegistrierung kaufen, weil das Video ein Wasserzeichen bekommen hat, was man sonst nicht weg bekommt.
Das geht mit einem anderen AddOn viel schneller, ohne alles! Und der Download und die Konvertierung geht ca. 10 mal schneller!
Keine Ahnung, warum dieses AddOn hier eine Firefox Empfehlung ist...

War früher mal gut - aber seit längerem funktioniert das Prog. bei mir nicht mehr.

Benötigt ein externes Programm damit es downloaden kann. somit als app nutzlos.

Total crap. Downloads take FOREVER, and some videos don't download correctly and / or stutter when playing them.

Slow as molasses : 22 minutes to assemble a 3 minute youtube video ? O_o Plus about 2 minutes to download it ? Useless.

I just paid the money for the download helper to convert, and now It doesn't work at all and it definitely doesn't down load with video and sound. I tried to reconfigure and now it doesn't even detected the videos. I am definitely displeased

Принудительно требует для работы скачивание и установку какойто программы .exe . прога не только спамит хренью, нагружает комп не по надобности, так еще и вирусы распостраняет. Скорее всего майнит на компе в фоне (сильно проц грузить начала в простое)
Ролик в 30м качает час а потом ещё 2 часа конвертирует вставляя QR код на 1/8 экрана.

Расширение требует установку стороннего приложение, которое не проходит проверку в firefox. Так приложение модицифирует скачанное видео, т.е. вы получите не тот виде, что вы хотели.

Unfortunately, this add-on is just another trick to get you to install third-party software (an "additional helping program") of unknown provenance, whose security threat is unknown. I tried it with a Yahoo video only to find it would not work unless I added their special program.

Langsamer Download, Zusatzanwendung erforderlich, Bedienung unübersichtlich, Heruntergeladene Videos sind in der nicht-registrierten Version durch ein Wasserzeichen (QR-Code) zerstört und unbrauchbar. Wasserzeichen lässt sich nur durch eine kostenpflichtige Registrierung entfernen.
Ein absolutes No-go!!!
Dieses Addon habe ich direkt wieder entfernt.

The program does not work on Ubuntu. (Ubuntu 21.10.) The program is installed, but when I try to download it, it displays the error message that a co-application is needed, as if I hadn't downloaded it. Absolutely not usable. Has the developer ever tried this on Linux? Earlier versions worked without further ado.
