Video Download Helper has worked on about 90 pct. of the videos I have wished to keep in my travel and documentary library, I use OBS Studio when Video Download helper does not work, but only as a last resort, since I have to record the video in real time, which is not possible if it is longer than 30 mins or so due to the large file sizes screen scrapers create.

I would say that this extension is as good as it gets, I do not need paid features, but if someone is seeking those, I would recommend it.

It does not nag users with malware, ransomware, or the games other services play, and that is why I recommend it above all other video download tools I enjoy, since I enjoy travelogues and documentaries a great deal on youtube, and save the most meaningful ones.

J'utilise cette extension depuis plusieurs années. Elle est parfaite !

I only have ONE complaint about this add-on. But I also leave it with a suggestion how to fix it.
The way I use this add-on is to to copy the link to the media I'd like to view. But when I TRY to do that, the add-on OFTEN make a "dual click" and also run the item in the menu right BELOW the arrow to show the list. That item is COPY & CONVERT the media which I DON'T want to do. After that I need to open it again and DELETE the download...
And when trying to do that, OFTEN the SAME thing happens again which leads into me making it over and over again..

My suggestion is that you SWITCH PLACES in the menu for those items. This means that i will only COPY the link = NO "harm" if it happens instead of starting an unwanted download which CAN be against the law depending on laws in the country of the users.

PLEASE take this into consideration..?

If it was working like I suggest, then I would have rated it with 5 stars instead of 4.

Have used this for several years on different machines. Except for the lag time when having to "aggregate" videos, I have no complaints.
