Video Download Helper is one of the reasons why i have started using Mozilla Firefox back then. and now with it's updated versions, it is clearly ahead of any other down loader software.

Setze diese Erweiterung mehrmals wöchentlich ein. Vor allem um Audios von div. Radiostationen als MP3 zu speichern. Sie funktioniert in der Regel anstandslos und zu meiner Zufriedenheit.
Nur bei einigen Fernsehstationen jedoch klappt es nicht mit dem Download.
Dennoch werde ich diese Erweiterung auch in Zukunft verwenden.

Depuis que j'utilise VidéoDownloadHelper, je suis beaucoup plus libre de visionner mes vidéos préférées lorsque j'assure les nuits sur mon lieu de travail (après les avoir enregistrées à mon domicile) et à mon rythme. En particulier, les vidéos de mes cours de japonais, qui ne sont pas accessibles depuis les PC du bureau. Par ailleurs, le fait de les enregistrer permet de les visionner à son rythme, et cela quelle que soit la qualité de la connexion. S'il y a un bémol, c'est seulement que certains formats sont incompatibles, mais cela doit représenter moins de 10% des cas. J'espère à ce sujet que l'équipe en charge du développement s'en occupe. Merci encore de m'avoir changé la vie

Works as intended and fits my uses up to 720p. Above that you need a 3rd party application which is slow and sticks a huge QR code on the video

I tried a lot of extension to download videos and this one is the only who seems to work on almost all kind of videos. Added to this, you can convert directly the file in a different format, for instance a video to mp3, usefull for music and even convert local files ! Unfortunately, nowadays right protections seems more powerfull and I'm not able to download videos from TV website like "ARTE" and protected youtube videos, for which I use "youtube-dl" directly from terminal on linux.

Je l'utilise pour télécharger mes séries préférées et des vidéos utiles sur internet.

J'adore son ergonomie qui le rend facile d'utilisation. Je peux voir facilement les téléchargement qui sont terminés, ceux en cours et ceux qui ont échoué.

Ce serait encore mieux de permettre de reprendre une vidéo qui échoue sans devoir ré ouvrir la page de la vidéo.

Le seul inconvénient est qu'il faut redémarrer le navigateur à chaque changement de dossier de destination.

Je ne voudrais pas faire de commentaires tellement je ne voudrais pas qu'il soit célèbre au point d'être bloqué.

bisher bin sehr zufrieden mit der Funktion. ich vermisse, dass das Programm sich vielleicht den letzten Speicherungspfad merkt. Ansonsten nichts zu bemängeln.

Semplice da utilizzare per i video brevi, con quelli più lunghi ci sono un più difficoltà, ma nel complesso è rapido ed efficace

I liked the older version of Download helper. I am having problems with the companion app. that seems to be required to download most videos. It seems to introduce a lot of complications to the download process.

Haven't been able to download from Youtube for a while. Other than that, an essential plugin.

This add-on is the one of my favorites.
I've used it for almost 10 years and for the most part, it does a good job of downloading videos via the Firefox browser, mainly flv and mp4 video, but it works for mpeg, wmv and jpg image files as well.
It's free, never had any issues with malware or adware.
It is almost all that I wish from down-loader, it is very useful and easy to work whit it.
I truly recommended it to everybody.

Does what it says.. would be nice to have preferences of output options instead of all the options they give you, which can get quite busy with multiple videos on a page, but with a little patience it'll get the job done. Thank you!

Works as promised

Does what it says on the label -- zero complaints regarding functionality or compatibility so far. Now, would I really rather not engage an external executable to do this task? Absolutely. But, this seems to fill the gap, at least until someone figures out an internal solution (involving tech stuff more advanced than the tiny bit of top-level scripting I've learned).

As at this date on Firefox version 57 on Linux Mint 18.3, the updated "companion" is generally needed to download anything .ADP to combine vid and audio two streams. On Youtube it worked very well. A blue button appears whilst it's working. If you reload the download drop down menu and click on the blue button, the particular choice you made will have its progress shown in a window. By clicking on the right hand side arrows for entries, one can delete items to clean up the menu of choices. This is keeps things tidier. The extension keeps being advanced to match the twists and turns of Youtube designed to thwart downloading. Downloading and converting( like mp3 ) is a snap. Always wait a good 6 seconds for any video to be detected. On Ubuntu, Linux Mint and other Debian versions of Linux, the download process for the free and needed companion app is dead easy. If a day comes when the extension doesn't work..give the team a couple of weeks to make adjustments to Youtube's current dodge and you'll find it works again. I find it also works on the latest Firefox in Windows 10. Kudo's once more in its long history.

Easy to use. Works with YouTube. It would be better if it can download video from YouKu and Dailymotion also.
