I wouldn't recommend using this. This will put a watermark on the majority of your downloaded videos unless you purchase a license. The biggest alarm is that this add-on requires you to download an external program (which it doesn't state anywhere in the description). The site claims that it's necessary and provides the source code via github, but no hash to verify it with the source code. Soon after downloading this, I started having some odd behavior with a service via svchost.exe causing high memory spikes, which I had never had since I've installed my OS years ago, and this was the only software I've installed recently in months.

I'm still checking whether the .exe of this addon was the cause, but I would be extremely careful and compile the companion app from the source code yourself if you're set on using this. There's another safer download tool called youtube-dl that is open source, well documented, and free. It's command line only but there's a gui front-end for it that also has instructions to compile directly from the source code.

This add-on is not what it used to be. You need to install local Software in order to use it and you also need to buy premium in order to use it properly. But Premium is way too expensive. I will Just use JDownloader instead. It is free and works better. This Add-on is bull**** DO NOT INSTALL.

Установила это дополнение, потом установила программу, которую дополнение также требует установить, очень долго качала 7-минутное видео (пол часа/час или даже более, компьютер при этом, по-моему, это прилично нагружало, чего обычно при скачивании подобных файлов не возникает) чтобы в конечном итоге дополнение мне выдало, что в углу скачанного видео будет QR-код, так как я не купила платную версию. Я ничего не имею против платных приложений за исключением тех случаев, когда они маскируются под бесплатные. Тем более, когда при этом они ещё и занимают кучу времени и требуют установки дополнительных программ.

Собачее лайно! Зачем мне дополнение которое требует установки отдельной программы и ничего само не качает? Вы там уху ели?

la mine pe firefox nu merge...il vad in extensii dar in bara sus nu-l vad si nici nu-mi apare cand sunt pe un videoclip...dau click dreapta , afizez url-ul videoclipului , dau click dreapta pe url si nimic , pauza...nu-l am deloc. Deci cum am spus , in mozilla firefox in optiuni il am ca fiind activ. Revin.... am sters extensia si am instalato din nou...o am ca activa in SUPLIMENTE dar nu mi-o arata sus in bara. Acum cand am dat click dreapta pe url am extensia dar imi spune ca NU EXISTA MEDIA DE PROCESAT IN FILA CURENTA. Deci? e inutila in firefox...nu merge si am incercat pe mai multe clipuri video si la fel imi spune. Cred ca doar in Crome merge... Cei in drept dati-mi un raspuns pe mail...nicolaenicu@yahoo.com. Download completes 100 percent and gets error, the part file never gets fully completed

before I could install this add-on, and I downloaded my videos, now it does not leave me so it is not important for me to not know that someone helps me install it, because it was my favorite I do not understand why mozilla does not let dowloadhelper video be installed if someone help me I will install it again and use it there is no page on the internet that helps me if there is tell me thank you
