And that's in addition to installing the Browser Add-on (in Firefox)! This Add-on use to be great. Now it's garbage! Sorry. Until they allow you to download stuff with just the browser Add-on again (Without requiring extra software in addition to just the Add-on), This Add-on will forever remain uninstalled! User's beware!

The companion app doesn't work. There are no instructions or guides on how to get it to work, and I can't find any way to uninstall it. - Некоторые операции, требуемые Video DownloadHelper, не могут быть выполнены в браузере. I was under the impression that this would only happen if converted. The watermark does scale either so it take up a quarter of the resolution making it useless.

- 评分 1 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 13931658， 8 年前Nutze ich schon seit Jahren und war eigentlich immer halbwegs zufrieden. In den letzten Wochen häufen sich jedoch Probleme mit dem Video Downloadhelper. Er bringt den Firefox zum Absturz, erkennt fast keine YouTube Videos mehr und bei vielen Seiten erkennt er zwar den Videostream und bietet auch den Download an, speichert dann jedoch nur eine 150 kb Große Datei auf der Festplatte, an Stelle des Videos. Diese Datei ist dann ohne Funktionalität. Auch ein Zurücksetzen auf die Standardeinstellungen und Deinstallieren/Neuinstallieren brachte nichts. Das Tool ist damit eigentlich unbrauchbar und nutzlos geworden. Hoffentlich finde ich eine geeignete Alternative.

I removed this app, and will look for a more user friendly (read FREE) video downloader. Used to be a good app, now its just a money grab.
