It used to be good, then for some reason their companion app added a watermark which takes up almost 1/4 of the image from the lower left corner.

They also spy your download history.

It Is Failing to download a Youtube videos for me today.

You want to add a watermark saying that you did not pay for a license? Ok, but I won't use an extension that adds a QR that steals a quarter of a video, good luck, you will need it.

You must pay for downloading mp4 file!

It puts a massive QR code on the video. What's the point? Waste of time app.

Complete B.S. Now! Was great, but now you have to pay or everything is watermarked. This extension is useless without paying. Deleted!

Used to be a great extension for 10+ years. Now completely unusable after recent unannounced change to stamp giant watermark onto all videos if you don't buy an expensive pro license.

It wants to install additional unknown software. So removed it 5 mins after install.

This no longer has any free utility. You must pay to download audio or video.

Tried it on a couple of websites (including Youtube) with playing media but it didn't work for me. It "sees" the video and seems to try but all I get is the spinning wheel. Running Win7(64) with Firefox 115.18.0esr (64-bit). I used this successfully several years ago, but not now. I see many 5-star reviews posted very recently - so what gives!?
UPDATE 2025-01-22 was updated today. reinstalled, still failed - same behavior on different websites.

Slaps a big barcode watermark on your screen. plus it requires additional installation. not recommended.

It works quite well, although it requires an additional component to be downloaded and installed on your computer. However, with the free version, you’ll have the catch of a huge and ugly QR code appearing on everything you save.
