Reliable everyday helper
I use Video DownloadHelper in Firefox on Ubuntu to download tutorial videos for offline learning (I add subtitles and translations afterwards). Over 100 downloads and it has never let me down — it detects videos on almost any page, downloads are fast, and the settings are clear. No annoying ads or popups. Highly recommended for anyone learning from online courses. Five stars!

Great vdo downloader

Was a great FREE video downloader for a long time. But now you have to pay after 1 video downloaded from youtube. Uninstalling it due to that. Will come back when they remove that crap.
