This app is not as great as it was in the olden days, but it's still pretty fantastic within the bounds of what FF outlined. Absolutely recommend.

I've been using the Video DownloadHelper for several years and really appreciate having it to work with in downloading most of the videos I want to save. Of course, it's no longer of much use on a site like Youtube where many videos are set up so they can't be easily downloaded with such software anymore, but there are other apps for that kind of issue. I like the fact that I can download easily, monitor the size and progress of the file when downloading, and other basic functions. It's a basic, clean and user friendly software that works well for me.
