This Video Download Helper is one of the few mozilla extension that deliver what they promise regarding download videos from websites! (before firefox fucked up their addons we had 20+ video downloaders working great.. now only this one)..

I have used many downloaders most of which have stopped working but Video DownloadHelper is still working well for me. So 5 stars.

It has also been useful in downloading materials that take longer bypassing the limits of most online downloaders.

When you ask it to download a video it says you need to download a "companion app", don't fall for this...

Used to be great and would download completely and quickly. What is this thing called aggregation that can take hours!? It renders this plugin useless!!!

Excellent extension. Easy to rename files and change download locations. Haven't had any problems.

Bait and switch. Banned in this country. Couldn't get their charge system to work properly. Said a valid card was in-valid. Something off here. And so many users too.

Good extension for downloading videos as most of the competition stops working.

The extension runs pretty well, but the user interface is a bit weird to get used to. Requires installation of a companion app (not to be confused with a companion extension), and then places a HUGE watermark in the form of a QR code on the corner of the downloaded video unless you pay $30. All this makes the experience feel a bit sketchy in my opinion.

Très bon convertisseur, même s'il ne prend pas en compte tous les sites. Il reste cependant une très bonne solution pour télécharger des vidéos. ATTENTION : ne leur faites pas de dons, car ces derniers sont gérés par Stripe (très très mal noté). Avant de le savoir, j'ai essayé à deux reprises de faire un don, mais à chaque fois que je rentre mes coordonnées bancaires, le chargement valide la transaction puis ça m'écrit qu'il y a eu une erreur et que le payement n'est pas passé. À mon humble avis, Stripe récupère les informations bancaires et les revends à des tiers.
J'ai donc décidé que temps que VDH ne changera pas son gestionnaire de transactions bancaires, je refuserai de leur faire des dons.
