Vite Research Privacy Policy

What we collect
- Account and authentication data when you sign in, used to keep you logged in.
- Content you choose to save: text you highlight, notes you add, and the URL and title of the page a highlight is on.

How it is used
- Only to provide the highlighting and annotation service and to sync your saved research across sessions and devices.

Where it goes
- Saved highlights and annotations are sent to and stored on Vite Research servers (api.viteresearch.com). Your authentication token is stored locally in your browser in encrypted form.

What we do not do
- We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.
- The extension does not read or transmit page content you have not chosen to highlight or save.

Data removal
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at: info@foreranger.com.
