Worculator — Activity Helper is the optional browser companion for the [Worculator] desktop productivity app.

When you switch tabs, the extension sends only to your computer (127.0.0.1:17529):

• Site hostname (e.g. react.dev) — no full URLs, paths, or query strings
• Page title
• Short page excerpt (≤240 characters) so the app can tell a tutorial from entertainment

The extension never sends data to the internet. Everything stays on localhost and only works when the Worculator desktop app is running.

The desktop app uses this context during focus sessions to show whether your browsing matches your stated intent. Titles and excerpts are used for session feedback and are not stored long-term by the extension.

To test: Install the Worculator desktop app, start a focus session, browse a few sites, and confirm the activity feed shows Firefox · hostname.
