Version 0.3.6 English labels

The risk label on the bubble now reads "risk X%" (it was in French before), and the version line in Settings is now in English. Nothing else changed: same permissions, same data (hostname and page path only).

Version 0.3.5 new name: Worldwide Chat - Scam Detector

Same extension, clearer name: a live chat on every website + an automatic scam/risk check on the bubble. Nothing else changed (same permissions, same data).

Version 0.3.4 clearer risk feedback on the bubble

New:
- While the checks are running, the bubble is grey with a loading spinner. As soon as every check is done, it takes the colour of the verdict: red at 70%+, orange 45-69%, yellow 25-44%, normal below 25%.
- When a page is flagged as dangerous, a "⚠ This site is flagged as SCAM" banner appears just above the bubble for 5 seconds with a shake, then disappears. If the bubble was tucked at the edge of the screen, it comes back into view for the alert.
- The "risque X%" label keeps updating live when the deeper content analysis finishes.

Unchanged: same permissions, same endpoint (chat.lasthopelabs.com only), only the page hostname and path are sent.

Version 0.3.3 live update of the risk label

What's new:
- When the deeper content analysis (server-side AI, "ModernBERT") is still running, the bubble now re-checks automatically and updates "risque X%" in place: flagged clones turn orange/red within seconds, and false alerts confirmed by the content analysis disappear from the bubble.
- Settings still shows the current version and release date.

Nothing else changed: same permissions, same endpoints (chat.lasthopelabs.com only), same data sent (host + page path only).

Version 0.3.2 reliability & readability fixes

• Rate-limit handling: if the connection limit is reached, the extension now waits 60 seconds and shows the notice only once per minute (previously it retried in a loop and repeated the message).
• The "risque X%" label is now printed inside the bubble: small "risque" + big percentage, readable on the colored bubble (no label below 25% legit sites stay clean).
• Settings panel now shows the current version and release date.
• Small fixes and cleaner code (no dynamic innerHTML).

Everything else is unchanged: automatic per-page risk check (host + path only), whitelist = 0 % false positives, no new permissions.

Version 0.3.1: Automatic scam & risk check per page

New: on every page you visit, the extension automatically checks the page against a curated scam list and a small AI model (plus domain-registration data). The bubble then shows a small "risque X%" label with warning colors:

• red 70%+ (danger) · orange 45–69% (suspect) · yellow 25–44% (attention)
• below 25%: nothing is shown legit sites stay clean.

Whitelist = zero false positives: any page on a trusted domain (241+ major sites, incl. all Google country domains) always shows 0% risk. Real page-level scams on trusted hosts are still flagged (red SCAM badge + 100%).

Privacy: only the current page's hostname and path are sent to the chat server — no page content, no history, no cookies. No new permissions. The analyzer never blocks the chat.

Also: bug fixes and reliability improvements.

Minor Hotfix

Hotfix 0.2.8.1:

• Fixed: the online-count badge on the chat bubble could be partially
hidden behind the bubble. It now always sits on top with a clean
border.
• This build is otherwise identical to 0.2.8.

What's new in 0.2.7.9:

• Users can now report a site or page as scam directly from the Reviews
tab ("Report this site/page as scam"). The report is sent to the WWC
moderation team, who can add the flagged site or page to the scam list.

What's new in 0.2.5:

Two room buttons replace the ＋ button:
- 🏠 House: the main room of the site, always available.
- 🌳 Tree: the room of the exact page you are viewing (shown only on
sub-pages). Press it to create or join that page's room; it follows
you when you navigate between pages.

The SID is now displayed on every message again, next to the nickname
and time, so you always know who is who.

What's new in 0.2.4:

Fixed: your identity (SID) could change after reloading a page when the
browser's extension storage answered slowly. Your identity is now stored
in an always-synchronized local mirror, so it stays the same across
reloads, on every site.

The settings (⚙) and page room (＋) buttons now live in their own column
on the right side of the panel, so they no longer overlap the messages.

Your nickname now appears in the panel header once set, next to the site
name.

Hotfix 0.2.3:

• Fixed: the settings (⚙) and page room (＋) popups no longer appear
by default when you open the chat they only show when you click
their button.
• Fixed: the buttons no longer cover the messages on the right side.
