Search for housing on Yandex Realty - from the Firefox address bar, with the @realty keyword, and one click away on the toolbar.

Why you might want it

• Straight to listings. Your query opens Yandex Realty: housing for sale and for rent.
• The region is filled in for you. You do not have to type a city - Yandex shows listings for your region.
• No extra steps. You do not have to open the service in a separate tab.

What the extension does on desktop

• Adds Yandex Realty to the Firefox list of search engines.
• The @realty keyword for a one-off search from the address bar: @realty one-bedroom flat.
• A toolbar button: click it on any page, type a query, get the result in a new tab.
• Yandex suggestions in the address bar as you type.

On installation Firefox asks whether to make Yandex Realty your default search engine. If you search for more than housing, decline: the @realty keyword and the toolbar button work either way. You can change the choice at any time in Firefox settings, section Search.

On Android

• Quick search from the extension button in the menu.
• Step-by-step instructions for adding Yandex Realty to your search engines by hand.

Firefox for Android does not let extensions add search engines. On a phone you add it by hand, once - the extension shows you how and gives you the string to copy.

Privacy

• The extension requests no permissions and does not collect your data. Your query and suggestions go only to Yandex, exactly as when you search on its site.
• A welcome page opens after installation and after an update. There is no other background activity.

Partner links

• The welcome page and the settings contain a labelled block, "Support the extension author", with partner links to Yandex services, including an offer with a bonus of up to 1100 ₽.
• Following them is optional and does not affect search. If you use one, the author receives a reward from Yandex at no cost to you.
