关于此扩展
Read where you already read.
Yomu makes text, subtitles, and images in your selected learning language tappable. Click or hover a word to see target-aware definitions, pronunciation, examples, and study status. It works on ordinary web pages, YouTube subtitles, manga and images through OCR, and local files when you allow file access.
All 33 learning targets share the reading, lookup, mining, and review loop. Japanese is the deepest target, adding furigana, pitch accent, kanji cards, and more grammar. Import compatible Yomitan dictionaries for local lookup; optional connected sources such as Jiten, JPDB, Bunpro, WaniKani, and Anki remain available where they support the selected target.
Choose how pages are handled: leave them unchanged, scan the selected language automatically, or scan only when you ask. The extension also includes a focused Study page. Open Study from Yomu's toolbar whenever you want it; Yomu never replaces or redirects the browser's new-tab page.
Highlights

Target-aware pop-up lookup for 33 learning languages

Clickable subtitles and image OCR

Local compatible Yomitan dictionary imports

Vocabulary and sentence review in Study

Furigana, pitch accent, kanji, and deeper grammar for Japanese

English and Japanese interface

No remote executable code and no sale of personal data

Site access is needed because the extension's single purpose is to annotate the selected learning language wherever it appears. Page text is processed locally except when you explicitly use a lookup, OCR, or sync service that you configured.
