YouTube Note Taker Pro helps you capture, organize and revisit ideas from YouTube videos, with a notes panel alongside the video and a dedicated library dashboard.
• Take formatted notes with clickable timestamps and optional screenshots.
• Pause playback automatically while taking notes.
• Search your library and export notes to JSON, Markdown or PDF.
• Use Alt + N to focus the editor and Shift + Enter to save a note.
New in version 2.5:
• Organize notes with collections, custom tags, bookmarks and advanced filters.
• Recover persistent drafts, restore notes from Trash and revisit up to 50 previous versions of a note.
• Select individual notes or filtered results for JSON, PDF and Markdown ZIP exports with image files.
• Add an end timestamp to replay a video segment from the notes panel.
• Use light or dark dashboard themes, archive statistics and configurable backup reminders.
Notes are stored locally in your browser. No account or cloud subscription is needed to use the extension. Full JSON backups include active notes, images and metadata; drafts, Trash, history and preferences remain on your device. PDF export uses the browser's Print / Save as PDF dialog.
