关于此扩展
Sort a YouTube playlist, most usefully Watch Later, into topic groups with the AI model of your choice, or by duration, title or channel. Preview the new order, apply it, and see group headings drawn into the playlist.
WHAT IT DOES
• Adds an Organize button to the playlist's filter-chip row
• Analyze & sort: your chosen model groups videos into your categories (editable in the popup)
• Sort by duration, title or channel: local and instant, no API key needed
• Group headings show the video count and time left to watch
• Started videos sort by time left within their group; mark one as unwatched with a click
• Preview before applying; Undo last sort puts the playlist back
• Light and dark theme, styled to match YouTube
BRING YOUR OWN AI
Analyze & sort works with Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, OpenRouter, a local Ollama, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. You paste your own API key; the extension has no server of its own. The provider's smallest model (Haiku, mini, flash) is enough for labelling titles.
PRIVACY
Video titles and channel names are sent only to the provider you configure, using your key. Your key, categories and preferences are stored locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to the developer. Full policy: https://github.com/dancormier/Youtube-Playlist-Organizer/blob/main/PRIVACY.md
KNOWN LIMITATIONS
• Uses YouTube's internal page API, which YouTube can change at any time
• Reordering writes to the real playlist; use Undo last sort if you change your mind
• Group headings are drawn client-side and disappear when the playlist changes
• Playlists up to about 2,000 videos
• "Mark as unwatched" only affects sorting, not YouTube's watch history
