I got tired of YouTube always starting an autoplaying playlist or mix of music when I just wanted to hear one song. This extension rewrites URLs on YouTube to disable this "feature" of the site. It should work on links within YouTube, links from other sites, and URLs pasted into the location bar.

This version has two drawbacks I consider to be minor. Clicking on a song link within YouTube without this extension will usually take you to the page for the song and begin playing it right away. This extension changes the way page transitions happen so that once you reach the song's page you have to click the big Play button to get the song to play. Trying to fix this was fiddly and I gave up in favor of having something that mostly worked. The second drawback is that this version is stupidly simple. It ALWAYS rewrites URLs. If you ever WANT the radio feature, you have to disable or remove this extension. A future version may provide a toggle or something so that you can choose when to allow the feature.
