The add-on has no separate server, tracking, advertising, or usage reports.

Requests to YouTube
The add-on sends video URLs to YouTube's oEmbed service to get original titles. This includes nearby video cards and the current video. Channel requests send a channel ID to YouTube's browse service. These requests do not include account cookies or the page referrer. YouTube can see your IP address, as it can with other network requests.

Thumbnail replacements load images from YouTube's image servers at ytimg.com using normal browser image requests. YouTube handles these requests under its own privacy policy. No data is sent to the add-on developer.

Local storage
The browser stores your settings, channel exceptions, video IDs, and cached titles on this device. Successful title results are used for up to 30 days. Failed requests are cached for up to 10 minutes. When the cache is saved, expired entries are removed and at most 1,200 entries are kept. Expired entries may remain on disk until the next save or until you clear the cache.

The Clear the title cache button removes saved titles and clears the cache in open tabs. Browsing more videos can fill the cache again. Uninstalling the add-on removes its local storage.

Your choices
You can turn individual features or the whole add-on off in the toolbar popup. Reload YouTube to undo earlier changes. Optional performance counts appear only in the page console and are never uploaded.
