YT Focus strips the noise out of YouTube — and only the noise you choose.

Every feature is optional. Turn filters on or off individually, with no account required. Changes apply instantly across every open YouTube tab.

• Shorts everywhere: shelves, navigation, search results, and recommendations. Shorts links open in the standard video player instead.
• Home feed recommendations, Mixes, Radio, topic shelves, and filter chips — or hide the Home page entirely.
• "Up next" sidebar, comments, live chat, end screens, pause-screen recommendations, and the channel watermark.
• Ads: hides display ads and automatically skips skippable video ads.
• Hide videos you've already watched, mute specific words or channels, or simply right-click a channel and select Mute this channel.

Replace thumbnails with actual frames from the video, and convert SHOUTING TITLES into readable sentence case while preserving acronyms like FBI and GTA 6.

Everything happens locally in your browser. No servers, no delays, and no crowdsourced opinions.


Most focus tools get disabled "just this once" and never come back. YT Focus is designed to prevent that.

• Pause for 10 minutes — automatically re-enables itself.
• Focus Hours — choose a schedule (for example, weekdays from 9 AM to 5 PM) when filters stay locked on and can't be disabled.
• Slow off-switch (optional) — disabling the extension requires a 10-second countdown that you can cancel.
• Per-page controls — make Home strict while leaving Watch untouched, or customize Home, Watch, Search, Subscriptions, and Channels independently.

When YouTube changes its layout, YT Focus detects it and displays a badge with a plain-language explanation instead of silently failing.
