Z-Extractor finds media URLs on the page you are viewing and lets you download them with Firefox’s built-in download manager.
How to use:
1. Open a page with video or audio (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, X/Twitter, or sites with direct media links).
2. Play the media so the page loads the file URL.
3. Click the Z-Extractor toolbar icon or the floating button on the page.
4. Choose MP4 / video or Audio when available.
Features:
- Detects media on supported platforms and many generic pages
- Popup list of found items with one-click download
- Optional on-page floating panel
- Runs locally in your browser — no account required
Notes:
- Some sites use DRM, blobs, or streaming formats that cannot be saved as a simple file.
- You are responsible for downloading only content you have the right to download.
