This extension sets Zeerka as your browser homepage, so your favourite links are organised and ready the moment you open your browser — no browser bookmark tools needed. From the toolbar, it also lets you save links, manage tab sessions, and search your bookmarks from any tab.
SETS ZEERKA AS YOUR HOMEPAGE
On install, the extension sets Zeerka as your homepage and, where your browser allows it, your startup page, so it's ready the moment your browser opens. Your browser shows a notice naming the extension, where you can undo the change, and removing the extension restores your previous homepage.
SEARCH YOUR BOOKMARKS FROM ANY TAB
Press a keyboard shortcut from any site — no need to switch to Zeerka first — and a small search box appears instantly. Find a saved link by title, URL, or note, then open it or jump straight to its spot on your Zeerka page. Works even if Zeerka isn't already open.
SAVE THE CURRENT PAGE TO ZEERKA
Open the extension popup, pick your destination group, and save the link. The page title, URL, and icon are pre-filled automatically, and you can pick a preview image from the images on the page. Zeerka stores the link, a copy of its icon, and the preview image you choose — not the page's text or other content. It appears on your Zeerka start page immediately — no reload needed.
MANAGE TAB SESSIONS FROM ANY TAB
Press a keyboard shortcut from any site and a small sessions panel appears instantly. Save your open tabs as a named session, switch straight to one you saved earlier, or close out your current set — all without leaving the page you're on. Pick up exactly where you left off, on any device.
IMPORT FROM YOUR BROWSER
Import your entire bookmark tree into Zeerka directly from the extension — no file export needed. Folders become Groups and Tabs automatically.
LINK HEALTH
Repair broken or missing icons, store copies of your link icons, and check your links for pages that are gone, moved or need sign-in — all without leaving Zeerka. Repairing or storing an icon opens the site briefly in a background tab to read its icon. Checking a link loads the page as you would see it, signed in where you are, to see whether it still exists; when that isn't conclusive, it opens the page briefly in a background tab. Only the result, and the new address if the page has moved, is saved to your account. These run only when you start them.
CALENDARS FOR ENCRYPTED ACCOUNTS
If your Zeerka account uses end-to-end encryption, the extension downloads your connected calendar feeds directly in your browser, so their contents never pass through Zeerka's servers. It fetches only the calendar links you've added, and only when your Zeerka page asks for them.
