- Rated 5 out of 5by runnel software, 3 years agoAbsolutely god tier japanese learning tool. I've used 10ten (and rikaichamp/rikaisama/rikaichan before it) for years and the current iteration is by far the best its ever been. love the addition of pitch accent markings, honestly if that was the only feature it'd still be super useful but that ontop of everything else makes it indispensable

- Rated 5 out of 5by ehmeh, 3 years agoThis app is indispensable to me, seriously, I love it so much. That's why I was shocked to find that since today, it no longer works in Google Docs.. This is quite a problem for me! Do you have any ideas how I could fix this? Yesterday it still worked fine.
Developer response
posted 3 years agoUpdate: This should be fixed now in 1.4.3, at least until Google Docs changes again.
Thank you very much!
I'm sorry about the trouble with Google Docs. Google have been gradually switching to a new "canvas" mode where the text in Google Docs is not available to extensions to read.
I hope to add a feature to 10ten to force Google Docs to use the old mode. Hopefully that will be added in a week or two.
Until then, sometimes if you load the same document in a new tab, you will get the old mode and then 10ten will work again.

- Rated 5 out of 5by kykz, 3 years agoi just don't like the 10 logo on the toolbar, i am so used to the old kanji one, i hope you'll replace it with something japan-ish. if someone has problem making it to work and restarting firefox didn't helped, try disabling the add-on and re-enable it again
edit: wow, thanks for the configurable icon and other additions. you're the best!Developer response
posted 3 years agoHi! Thank you for your feedback! That's a good idea about making the logo configurable. I filed an issue for it at: https://github.com/birchill/10ten-ja-reader/issues/689
Also, thank you for the advice about fixing the add-on after the update. I'm really really sorry for the trouble you had.
UPDATE: As of version 1.2.0 the logo is now configurable so you can set a kanji icon if you prefer.
