by Firefox user 14149441, 3 years agoReally like this extension and it's not leaking any of my real information BUT I've done about 10 random experiments on amiunique.org and 7 of them were on red numbers, even as low as 0.1 of al registries... I mean... it's not leaking my real information but the entire point of a spoof-er it's to "blend in" with the crowd making me NOT unique. Even if it's fake information I guess a bad actor could track this pretty "unique" and I guess very identifiable fake information to connect the dots to someone. Could there be an option to only use "common" information, like OS, fairly updated browsers and devices that are on the "green" very "common" not "unique" side of the spectrum?
I know I can choose which ones to exclude but I don't know the rare ones from the common ones. Cheers.

- Rated 5 out of 5by nothairy, a month agoIt's pretty great, does what it says it does, tested it with am i unique, and it helped quite a bit. Only issue is that when you change your screen size through the extension, some websites may or may not break. but that's just normal, i suppose.

- Rated 2 out of 5by What???, 7 months agoOnly two stars because websites can still detect your true OS which can defeat the purpose if you are spoofing to a Linux browser. Otherwise, it's GUI is nice.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Tetranymous, 10 months agoI use this as a user-agent switcher (manually select a single chrome version, turn off and on as needed) since all the other user-agent switchers I tried didn't work for me. Chameleon works flawlessly! :)

I really recommend this module to spoof your browser. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17760368, a year ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 5995088, a year agoHey man I absolutely appreciate what you're doing, great add-on!
But could you please remove IE11 from the standard spoofing options? I mean, deactivating it is easy but nobody uses it anymore and almost every site I visit with this particular spoof doesn't work and tells me to update my browser. You could still keep the user agent but make it optional, not included in the default settings. - Rated 5 out of 5by Unn Yah, a year ago
