- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19293090, 2 days agoA lot of people are rating this 1 star because they are being correctly flagged as transmisogynists. Shinigami Eyes is working as intended, and they're big mad about it.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Ash the Yggdrasil, 2 days agoHello. I am transfeminine. I ask you read this review before continuing to read any others.
Many of the people rating this as "five stars" claim transmisogyny and "review bombing."
It is not review bombing. Most, if not all, of the one-star reviews are valid concerns and I have witnessed the things the one-star reviews are talking about with my own eyes. The people giving out one star reviews are not being transmisogynist. The fact that my own sisters in the trans community will claim such of people actually having grievances and struggles of their own is a fact that disgusts me.
Most of the one-star reviews are discussing experiencing "transandrophobia," intersexism, and even racism at the hands of the developers of this extension. They speak of many people being completely, unfairly, and unjustly marked red, and I have seen this happening more and more often, and I find more and more people being marked green purely on the basis of being a trans woman.
This is actually a one-star review, but I wanted to put this here to challenge the people in the 5-star section having the disgusting gall to call our trans siblings "transmisogynist" for the mere fact that they are not trans women themselves.
And if one such reviewer is reading this...
Do better. I know you can. Fix your hearts. - Rated 5 out of 5by Raven, 2 days agoNot something to follow religiously, but does a pretty decent job of letting you know when to take extra caution around certain accounts.
Unfortunately it's currently getting review-bombed becuase a very small number of tumblr transmasc/intersex people got flagged red after repeatedly saying anti-transfem things, and so have been trying to convince everyone the extension has an agenda against them all. I've found it to be pretty accurate though. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19280708, 3 days agoPeople get pissy when you call a transphobe a transphobe despite their flowery language.

- Rated 5 out of 5by dimensioncannon, 22 days agothis extension is an excellent flag that signals to me that i need to dig deeper into a person's stances on trans people before sharing their content online. contrary to many of these reviews, the moderation is extremely consistent; it is simply that whoever's doing the moderation is focused on preventing transmisogyny (as they should be). the website itself states, "Don't assume someone is not transphobic just because they are trans or non-binary themselves." every single trans person i've seen marked red on shinigami eyes or complaining about a false flag has indeed had transmisogynistic rhetoric on their blog. this extension isn't wrongfully marking anyone; you simply disagree with the moderator(s) when it comes to what is or isn't transphobic. personally, this extension has helped me block terfs i see in my notifications so that my posts don't gain traction in their circles, which has been massively useful over the years. thank you shinigami eyes!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Samantha, a month agoOkay I'm seriously confused but I'm not gonna trust what's being written these don't sound like real people they sound like bots or republicans masquerading as trans or whatever either way I really don't care what a bunch boxes of text are saying until I see it for myself I'm not trusting you
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19172541, a month agoOne star reviewers are mad that their transmisogyny is being highlighted. Would advise you to ignore them if you are a serious person. This is a very useful extension that I refuse to go without in my browser.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Harley, a month agogenuinely good extension that has had a smear campaign against it. primarily by those who would like to pretend that being transgender makes one immune to being transphobic when it's in the extension's guidelines to "not to treat people differently just because of their gender, age or orientation"
these people can fully believe that trans women can be transphobic because "transandrophobia". but cannot fathom that they themselves can platform transphobic ideals.
overall great extension, even if you're not trying to block transandrophobia truthers as it accurately hits radfems pretty well - Rated 5 out of 5by Millie Morbid, a month ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Lea, a month agoI'm a trans woman, this add-on has been excellent at letting me know who's safe and who isn't. All the complaints about "false" markings, and yet I've never come across a false marking yet. This tool is primary a way of marking transmisogynists, and if you're marked red and/or mad about this extension... you need to take a deep reflection of yourself rather than continuing to show your hatred of women sharing their experiences and trying to stay safe. Thank you to the developers and to all my sisters!
- Rated 5 out of 5by smile365, a month agothe people complaining about "false flags" are simply mad they can't get away with transmisogyny on the basis of also being trans anymore.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Julia, a month agoThis extension works perfectly; I have yet to see someone be marked incorrectly by it. Many people who get marked red get pissy about it and claim to be "incorrectly" marked red, but I have yet to see one who actually treats transgender women with a modicum of respect.

- Rated 5 out of 5by wormtoxin, 2 months agoDon't listen to the review bombers giving it one-stars: a group of spiteful people on tumblr are organizing to lower its score. Shinigami eyes is a great extension. The best thing about it is that it's open to the community- no individual person decides what's right or wrong. If you disagree with the way someone's been marked, you can correct it yourself. I like to treat it like a "heads up". If I see the red, I can look more closely at the source and decide for myself if I agree. If you're capable of critical thinking, you'll be fine. Its great to know other folks in the community are keeping at eye out.
