- Rated 4 out of 5by Ben, 12 days agoAdd on is perfect aside from one issue; unpaid promotion and self promotion aren't seperate, i am fine with self promotion but i don't want to sit through a sponsor just because it wasn't paid for, currently i have unpaid/self promotion set to ask to skip

- Rated 4 out of 5by Aengine, a month agoNeeds a feature to block specific submitters. A lot of people misuse the extension and submit sponsors that are not sponsors, previews that are not previews, and so on. The extension is good and works most of the time, but needs this feature or another solution (votes aren't doing it). EDIT: Dev you seem to care which is nice, but I don't want to be the sponsorblock police reporting people on Discord. I just want a personal way to avoid submissions of users that think intros = previews; or perhaps a distinction between preview/recaps and "hooks". As an example nearly every GamersNexus video has an intro that *does* add to the content but it's almost always marked as preview/recap/hook (sometimes it's clips from the incoming video, those I agree are OK to mark as preview/recap/hook).

posted a month agoFeel free to send videos where you think abuse is happening to the discord or matrix and we can ban the users or send them messages so they can learn from their mistakes - Rated 4 out of 5by Haggy, 3 months agoI loved this Addon very much, but now if I open videos in a new tab, what I do a lot, the video player stops working at 17-25 seconds. I have to then manually reload the website and then I can watch the video. Either I get an infinite loading symbol, or I get an error message when that happens. Otherwise the addon was/is great! I hope to soon get a fix for that issue. Feel free to contact me for more information. Until then I will have to sadly deactivate the addon as it is extremely annoying.

Segments can be a bit overzealous. I'm surprised by what gets upvoted sometimes. "Highlights" in particular are just confusing more often than they're useful IME (why would anyone want to skip the first 10 seconds of Old Town Road?), but it's more of a problem with categories that you might generally want to autoskip, but sometimes have segments that don't fit the category rules.
So, this is a bit more of a compromise than traditional adblockers are. But I'd rather occasionally hassle with unskipping a segment than ever hear an ad-read for a VPN ever again. It's a net positive by a huge amount. Thank you Ajay and everyone who tags segments. - Rated 4 out of 5by Sourav Satvaya, 6 months agoThis extension does what it claims to be, but there's one issue on the mobile version. When I'm watching a video on full screen and if that video has a sponsor part, as soon as the video comes to that part the extension is forcing the player to exit the full screen.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Heinrich Lunge, 7 months agoThis extension is one of the best things after uBo, it is just superb, but there is one thing that bothers me, recently a rewatched a video and there was already a sponsor segment marked, but it was wrongly timed, I corrected it, but my marked segment was not saved even though it was the correct one, I think this should be fixed, even though I downvoted the wrong segment, it is the one that still appears in the video.

posted 7 months agoIn some countries such as Russia, they have blocked the main sponsorblock server - Rated 4 out of 5by 3HY, 8 months agoIt works well and saved me a lot of time, although I found a really annoying bug that stops the progress bar from working when using it on Firefox. It won’t show any elapsed time and will only indicate your position in the video when you hover over it to see the red dot. The only fix I’ve found is to completely reinstall or disable the extension, and even then, that only works for like an hour or two. Please fix this! I don't wanna go without the extension but I can't STAND this bug!

- Rated 4 out of 5by Viktor, a year agonice addon, but unfortunately the "vip users" oftenly downvotes other people's suggestions from their alt accounts just to place their own segment mark on exact same spot and farm the views and likes

posted a year agoOur goal is to make the best skips possible, even a small change in milliseconds can cause problems when skipping.
Make sure to use the preview button to make sure your segments are skipping well so that a moderator doesn't have to spend time fixing your mistakes. - Rated 4 out of 5by LiberaEspero, a year ago
