⚠️You give data, they profit – and you take the risk

Ultraviner only allows login via Facebook, Discord or Reddit. When I tried Discord, it immediately wanted access to all my groups and servers. That’s very questionable. This is private information, not required for the extension to function, and frankly none of their business.

Beyond that, the way the extension works is concerning. Free users basically provide the raw data (their Vine queues and product details) that Ultraviner collects, while only paying users get access to the “real” benefits, like alerts or advanced product exploration. In other words, you contribute but don’t benefit.

It’s also worth pointing out that making Vine product data publicly available like this is against Amazon’s terms of service. So in addition to giving away your data, you’re also putting your own account at potential risk – without any real upside if you’re not paying.

⟹ Overall, the safest option is simply not to use it. The login methods are intrusive, the functionality is limited, and the whole setup feels exploitative and risky.

Basically useless without a Patreon subscription. Pretty much all features that go beyond Amazon's default Vine experience show a funny little "xyz requires Ultraviner Turbo subscription" (that's a$10 per month subscription plan for some super half baked software - you have absolutely no shame.)

Why you'd even release it here at this point is beyond me. You literally can't even show a product's price or bookmark it without paying $10 a month.

There is basically no point in using it if you don't want to pay a completely overpriced monthly subscription.

The extension forces you to log in (with either Reddit or Discord) to use the most useful features.
